PRAYER ARCHIVES

We receive requests regularly from persons who wish that the church pray for their needs.

Below are recent requests for prayer which we received by email through our website.

We would appeal to all to join us in prayer to God so that, Lord willing, the specific needs of these various people are met.

Matt. 7:7-8: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."

As we enter the warm summer months, I need your prayers for children. So many of these children are fatherless. Please tell me what I can pray about for you? Love in Jesus, Stel.

I am thankful that the Lord knows we need a change of season....

The change of season for some disciples has brought much pain due to losses in the church and family. Only God knows how to heal grieving hearts.

I am requesting your prayers for these disciples. I am also requesting your continuing prayers for my ministry to children. I am not a child but I am learning to humbe myself like a child as God continues to teach me how much I need him to do anything good for others.

Thank You again. God is moving mountains in my life through your continued intercession on my behalf. Thank You.

Bro. Chris, believe me I know what it means to be busy. Thank you for your concern and asking about Mom. I have been trying to take care of both Mom and Dad with all their health problems and it can become quite a job. Brother Chris, we almost lost Mom a couple of times in the past couple of weeks. However, the Lord has answered our prayers and she is recovering from two surgeries at this time. She had to have a pace-maker put into her chest first of all and then a week later she had to have a fairly new procedure called a Heart Ablation. This is were they go into the heart and burn or cauterize certain sections of the heart to keep it from beating too fast. The pace-maker keeps it from beating too slow. She is now recovering at home and improving. Dad is doing okay as well.

Thank you so much for your prayers and please continue to keep them in your prayers daily. Thank the congregation there for their continued prayers as well. I am doing okay but like you very busy with all the church work and activities. I pray for you and your work daily as well, please keep me on your prayer list for the strength to do and handle everything as God would have it. Take care and may God bless.

I am so grateful for your prayers. I live in the United States in New York. But I honor God's Church all over the world. I pray for you often.

Due to the technology of the internet I am able to communicate with you during a difficult time in my life and in my family. I am grateful that you responded to my request for prayers.

I became a disciple of Jesus in the Church of Christ in Florida in 1972. I love the Church. I am also a professional singer. I would love to visit outside the US one day and sing for you.

I am also a Human Rights Commissioner. I have a ministry to homeless children. My son also loves homeless children. This is how he moved into a difficult situation that now requires so much prayer for God to protect him and our family.

My husband is a music professor at a university here in New York. He has been in Spain and Ghana for the last four weeks. We are looking forward to his return to the United States on Sunday, June 19. Pray for his safe return.

Because of your prayers we are making progress. God has given us a hedge of protection. Pray for those who stand with us. Because God will hear your fervent, sincere prayers..... We will prevail.

I love you and thank you for standing with my son and my family.
